When should I ask her out?

I'm 14 years old. Tomorrow I am going on a field trip to a conservatory. I've heard it is hot, humid, and romantic. Let's just say I get "lost" in the "rainforest" with the girl of my dreams...Should I ask her out there or on Valentine's Day?
