Do Republicans actually have something to offer the country?

Some positive proposal? Because all I see here are trumped-up attacks on Obama and Democratic proposals, along with some tired slogans that have been disproved by history -- for example, Reagan's "Government is the problem," or the constant whining about taxes and such. Do you really think you can win back the White House with phony attacks and proposals to repeal beloved programs like Social Security? And why would anyone vote for the party that left the country a tottering wreck, yet wants to repeat endlessly the failed policies -- Reaganomics, laissez-faire deregulation, privatization -- of its past?
