Fix Old Wood Flooring?

My fraternity has this nice wooden flooring in our big front room. The only problem is the condition of it. It looks old and worn down. When it is mopped, it looks like I think it should look, but when it dries again, it looks old and worn again. Is there anything that can be done to make it look nice all the time?
