Throat Breathing/Doctor?

I'm having problems breathing on the throat area and about to see an allergist.I was thinking also getting my throat and chest checked out ( maybe an xray) since its not normal that i can feel some kind of silent wheezing on throat area feels restricting inhale/exhale. What kind of doctor would i need for that?
