I wanna mix my religion with halloween?

so ima christian n im sick of all the spooky halloween crap. it aint bout scary faces n costumes i dont think. i wanna celebrate halloween like christ did in his time, how did he do it? i doubt he was giving candy to people in costumes. what do you think he did for halloween n how can i do it today?
