I had thorns all in my hands.?

Well me and my fiance have been fighting alot hes in the army so hes not with me right now. so i had a dream that he came to visit me and he picked me up and we were both really happy then we accidentally fell into this cactus but after we fell i didnt see him anymore,he ran away so i had to take all of the thorns out of my hand by myself, the thorns werent anywhere else on my body besides my hands. im just wondering what does that mean?
