Possessive bf, regardless of religious backgrounds, are never good news. They want to control your every moment and eventually they become more demanding and abusive. This is a clic symptom of a batterer. You're only 16 and this is way too young to have this kind of drama. Tell him to back off. I find it's really odd that he's willing to meet your family, but doesn't want you to meet his. This is another huge red flag. My suggestion is to cool it and focus on school. There will be other boys that will make you feel safe and make you laugh. It's obvious that you are not compatible.
