I really want to move to P.R but don't know where to start, I don't think I would be able to work in my field?

because I was told by a dentist from puerto rico, that I would be severly underpaid, which would make it hard to live in P.R. But I still want to try. Do you know if there are alot of jobs one could find without special training in P.R? Also I'm not fluent in spanish, but could learn, I have the materials, that why I wanted to stay in San Juan in the tourist section. Please let me know what you think.
