How do i terminate the narcotics registration?

sorry for the repost but I guess I didn't make it clear. completed probation for the case at the end of 2002 and its now 2008. I got pulled over and the cop was giving me a hard time cause they said I am a narcotics offender. I called the court, they said call probation, they probation says call the court???? Its embarresing and I want to remove it. But how? I know it stays on my record but Im talking about terminating it. To were the cop doesn't make me take off my shoes and socks and tear apart my car looking for something that isn't there!!! I don't want them to be telling me I'm currently a narco reg. ?????Thanks for the help in advance.
